Elsie Karvoski
Pottsville Republican, Oct. 10, 1973
"Elsie E. Karvoski of Long Run, RD2 Schuylkill Haven, died at 1:15 am. Wednesday in Pottsville Hospital. She was employed as a kitchen supervisor for 20 years, first at Warne Hospital, then at Pottsville Hospital-Warne Clinic. Miss Karvoski was hospitalized for three years. She was born Dec. 26, 1909 in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Walter and Stella Kuchinsky Karvoski. She resided in the Pottsville area prior to moving to Long Run. Miss Karvoski was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven. Surviving are a brother Walter of Quakertown; three sisters, Laura, widow of Joseph Wesolesky of City Island, N.Y.; Bertha, widow of Stanley Bednarchick of Peckville, Frances, wife of Michael Lewsock of Long Run, with whom she resided. Services will be held from the Theodore Ebling Funeral Home, Cressona, on Friday morning with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ambrose Church and interment in the parish cemetery."

HAHN - In this city, on the 30th ult., JOHN HAHN, aged 65 years, 11 months and 14 days. The relatives and friends of the family, also employees Mt. Penn Stove Works, employees Reading Cold Storage Co., members of Chandler Lodge, No. 227, F. and A.M., are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, without futher notice, from his late residence, 237 Spruce Street, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Services at the house. Internment private in Charles Evans Cemetery.

SEIGFRIED - At Adamstown, PA., jan. 31 1908, George R., son of Henry and Emma Seigfried, aged 26 years, 6 months and 18 days. The relatives and friends of the family, also Adamstown Council, No. 60, O.U.A. M. are invited to attend the funeral without futher notice, on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 5, 1908, at 1:30 o'clock at the home of his parents. Services in the United Evangelical Church. Internment in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Maria R. Wilhelm
After an illness of only a few hours, Mrs. Maria R. Wilhelm died suddenly on Friday evening at her home in Sinking Spring, in the 58th year of her age. She was in the best of health until late Friday afternoon, when she was stricken with apoplexy. Deceased was a well-known member of the Reformed congregation at Host. There survive these children: Calvin Wilhelm, of Wyomissing, and John Wilhelm, of Bethel; two sisters, Mrs. John Christ, of this city, and Mrs. David Young, of Manassas, Va.
