Researching Historic Homes

Correspondence Do you have an
old letter or postcard written by your ancestor? Old postcards
and letters provide wonderful factual information that is helpful to
your research. It is possible to find dates and places and of course
home addresses. Make sure to check those postmarks. If you
are not fortunate enough to have such an item, someone else might. Be
sure to check the Internet as there are many web sites and message
forums where people are listing found items. One such site is Genealogy
Mailbox. And, I also would do a search on Ebay.
