Our mission for this project is to make digital images of gravestones available freely online. Unfortunately, time is taking it's toll on many gravestones. It is becoming harder to read the original inscriptions they contained. And, sadly, it is already too late for some tombstones which are already impossible to read. They are lost forever due to weather damage or vandalism. By taking digital gravestone photographs, we can help save these very important genealogical records and help families discover their heritage.

These gravestone photographs provide wonderful factual information that is helpful to your genealogy research. On the gravestones, it is possible to find an individual's birth and death dates, information about military service, and perhaps a marriage date. And, you may discover an epitaph that will provide a glimpse into the individual's way of life.
