Why genealogy?
Genealogy, or family history as it is more commonly known, is becoming
increasingly popular. For some individuals, genealogy is a pastime,
while for others it is part of finding out who they are. In general,
there is a great interest in understanding the origin and history of
different populations and families. Written documents, old pictures,
and other materials can provide important information used to elucidate
personal and world history.

Can you help me find my family member?
We do empathize with those of you who are searching for your father,
mother, or siblings. However, we do not have access to contemporary
records needed to help you. Privacy laws restrict our access to many
modern records. We suggest that if you need post 1940 research on
living individuals that you consider hiring a private investigator.
Are there any additional charges ?
No. All photocopy costs, postage and handling, long distance phone
calls, microfilm and record fees are all included in the research
package price.
How much is this going to cost me?
The answer to that question really depends upon what you want to have
done. Do you want us to just research one individual? or one family? or
one ancestral line... or, do you want to have extensive
multigenerational research done? or maybe a family history book
written? The final cost really depends on the number of hours it takes
to reach your research goal.
Is it safe to pay online ?
Yes. PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In
addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't
receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank
account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people
you don't know.
Are there payment options?
There are several payment options. You can pay with credit card online
using PayPal. And, you can send a check or money order made payable to
Ancestal Branches. If you send a check, we will wait until the check
clears before starting any research.
